what is recommended to do with the damaged leaves? And how can I help her grow? I overwatered when I first got her, I plan to add fertilizer once it arrives, and I’ve repotted her as she was growing roots through the previous pot. Aswell as I make sure to keep her out of direct sunlight, and drain the excess water when watering. Am I missing anything? I’d appreciate feedback from anyone who knows how to care for a pathos tysm!☺️♥️ Update: I snipped the yellowing and brown/crispy leaves from the stem, hoping to see improvements! fingers crossed 🤞

Anytime I had a yellowing/brown leave, I personally cut it off! Pruning actually promotes new growth anyways, so it’s kind of a win win situation haha.

Thank you so much! Do you suggest cutting it from the stem or just the leaf?

✨snip snip✨ the sad leaves. If the plant is mushy anywhere at all, water it a little bit more than usual.

I think you've got it covered it should do well. Probably the most important part is don't overwater and make sure it gets adequate light.

It sounds like you fixed all the issues. I'd just gently pull off the brown or yellow leaves.

All great advice. I recommend not strictly following the watering schedule without verifying the soil has dried. The plant will be slightly limp when it needs water. What type of plant is it? It looks like monstera or anthurium from the long stems.

The post says pothos but looks more like a monstera to me

I was told when buying that she was a Golden Pathos, but now two comments have said otherwise. I’m gonna look into that and post if I find anything new. Thank you for the tips!

I haven’t seen any patterning yet but she is still really small. I’ll take her to my mother she owns several Golden Pathos, and get her expert opinion on it. Guess I won’t know until she gets bigger. Thanks on the input everyone! ♥️
