Plant mamma

Hello - my Pothos was doing great (picture on the right from a few months ago, picture on the left now), and then all of a sudden started drooping. I thought it was due to a lack of light so I relocated the plant and watered it and now it has dark spots on the leaves. Please advise!

    Have you checked the roots?

By droop, is it all the leaves that looked wilted or just the ones affected by gravity outside the pot? It may have been fine and the extra water may have made it a bit waterlogged. Check the roots as Olivia suggested. The top of the plant didn't look very wilted so maybe your pothos was just stretching out and looking for something to climb. I let mine cascade since I don't want mine to crawl along my walls ☺️

This is mine when it was younger a few months ago. Now it's about 3-4' long on top of a bookshelf with a grow light... 😊

The ones in the middle seem a little less droopy. Now it seems like some of the leaves are starting to yellow though.

Def check the roots too make sure they're not turning black. If anything, take a cutting from one of the healthy parts that has a node and plop it in water as a backup. You can always replant it in the pot once the rest of it is in the clear. Hoping that it just needs some time to dry out.

      What do black roots mean?

Blackish roots (and they'd be a bit stinky too) means they're overwatered and rotting.

Well, they don’t smell, and I don’t think the roots are black, although obviously they’re dark because they’re covered in dark

They look pretty decent. Maybe it just wanted to throw a hissy fit. Let it acclimate to the new spot if you think it was the lighting (or whatever else may have made him droopy in they old spot) and hopefully it'll turn itself around.
