Give it as much light as you possibly can! These are full sun plants and can not survive in low light. However, if you’re going to put it right by a south or west facing window, spend 2 weeks slowly moving it closer to its final spot to prevent leaf scorch- sometimes plants need to work their way up to full direct sunlight. Right by an east, south, or west facing window will work or a really good high quality grow light. Water when the soil is 75% dry; you’ll know that it’s ready if you can stick a chopstick in 75% of the way and it comes out clean and dry. Clean the leaves 1x/month (just a damp cloth or duster will do the trick). If you repot it, make sure to give it chunky, well-draining soil (for example, equal parts potting mix, perlite, and orchid bark) and make sure to put it in a pot that’s only 1-2 inches bigger than the root ball with drainage. Any balanced fertilizer will work, but I personally love Dyna-gro superthrive foliage pro liquid fertilizer for mine. A humidifier is not necessary but it will thank you for one if you feel like splurging on it.
