Why do the underside of some of my monstera leaves look like this?

    Did you just water it, or are the leaves always like this?

      Recently watered, first time I’ve noticed these leaves

      If the coloring is temporary, it doesn’t necessarily mean overwatered. I’ve seen some leaves on my scindapsus pictus get like this after a watering, but it fades eventually.

    I’m also curious if it was just recently watered or not. It could be a possible sign of the soil not drying out enough in between waterings, but I can’t say for sure.

      Recently watered (same day as picture) but I don’t think it’s overwatered

    It was recently watered but I’m pretty confident it hasn’t been overwatered since this plant never gets watered more than once a month and dries out thoroughly
