I got a watermelon peperomia in the mail a few weeks ago. It came in not great condition during an unfortunate heat spell. At the time I didn’t think it would survive, but it seems very healthy now. I noticed today that all the new leaves are curled, instead of flat like most watermelon leaves usually are. Is this normal for new leaves? If not, could this be from the damage it sustained during shipping, or is there something I am doing wrong? All my other peperomia are healthy and appear to be thriving.

    Looks like it needs more light my plants leafs curl when they don’t get enough light ! Try putting it outside or under a grow light

    Just checked mine and new leaves are flat. My best guess would be too wet. Is that a possibility?

      It definitely could be. I was getting gnats so I just watered them all with mosquito bits tea. I will give it time to dry out a little before the next watering. Thanks for the advice!

    Interesting. All my new leaves are curled and then they flatten out nicely in the course of a few days. Curious to hear others start out with flat new leaves! I thought these new curled leaves were normal.
