What is this? Found it in my cover pot, it was rolled up in a spiral. Is it bad for my plants?
Millipede. They live in the soil. I’ve carried several home from the nursery with pill bugs. They typically climb into the drain holes at the nursery or at home if plants sit outside. You can try changing the soil or using neem oil. 🪴🍀

2 LikesMillipedes are harmless and unaffected by most pesticides. If you want to get rid of them, physically remove any obvious adults, and repot with fresh soil in case of eggs or small ones hiding. To encourage them to not move in again, remove any dead plant material and leaf litter, lift the pot up on pot feet or something similar to remove the hiding spot underneath, improve air flow, and make sure things dry out well between watering sessions.
