I have had this pothos for two years now, but only recently got brave enough to repot it as it was outgrowing its previous home. After repotting, it has this growing on the top of the soil. But the plant itself seems very happy, healthy, and has even grown a few new leaves! Is this something I should be concerned about, or is there something I should do to remove it? It has a drainage hole, and the soil doesn’t appear to be holding too much water. Thanks!

This is likely just saprophytic fungus, which is not harmful at all to the plant but could be an indicator that the soil is not drying properly between waterings! You can just mix the fungus into the soil or scrape it off for appearance if you want :)

My recommendation to address the lack of airflow would be to go for a chunkier soil mix — a mixture of potting soil and perlite for example!

It's flowerpot parasol. Totally harmless, but can indicate overwateeing if it makes mushrooms often. If you leave it alone, you'll get a cute little mushroom
