Flf has had dry spot like forever in this older leaf, I was watering it when it just chipped off. It's a large section and will the leaf be ok in the part with torn-away veins?

IMO, as long as that leaf has no pests, it should be just fine. However, as long as your plant has enough leaves to support proper photosynthesis, I would remove that leaf; I just like my plants to look nice, and if you have enough leaves, your plant won’t need it to help feed itself. Best of luck!

yes the leaf will be ok! the part that had dried was already dead, so having it chip off makes no difference :) i would personally leave the leaf on the plant, as its a relitively small portion, and the rest of the leaf is still capable of photosynthesizing!

It’s fine and the green part is doing its job 😊 Make sure you’re checking for pests (of course) BUT those leaves look really dusty. That could cause issues including dryness. keeping the leaves clean will help the plant’s health and have less issues with drying leaves

Thank you, this plant has had spider mites In the past. It's one of 4 I got from a shop and it has been doing really well. The leaves were dusty and I cleaned them off l, and it looks like a new leaf is coming in. The spider mites are mostly gone, I was just a bit worried about the dry spot being smth else. Thx for all the help!
