Better pic of Seymour with out the bloom do have a couple more questions should I give it water every day so it stays moist. I’ve had so many people tell me that I should water it once a week or once every other week or keep water on it at all time and I’m just really confused. Also Seymour caught a daddy long leg. Are those OK for them to eat and why does it have, some yellow spots on some of the plants is that normal or is there something wrong with it? and I’ve never really been quite sure on how much water I should put in its little tub. and is it OK to give the flytrap room temperature filtered water?

i would try to keep the soil moist. these guys are bog plants, so they like sitting in water/wet conditions! i have mine sitting about an inch of distilled water, and i top it off every so often to keep the water levels up. you can water every day or few days, or have it sit in water. the choice is up to you! any kind of minerals, nutrients or chemicals in your VFT's soil or water can end up killing it, which is why i use distilled. rain and RO (reverse osmosis) are also an option! filtered should be fine, just make sure to either use aquarium conditioner, leave it out for at least 24 hrs, or boil to get rid of any chlorine! im not sure what the yellow is, it might be a viral infection. you can cut off the leaf if you wish. IMO it looks like variegation, but ive never heard of that in a carnivorous plant. hope this helps, good luck!
