Can someone Possibly Help Identify what this is on my foliage? Small Dots popped up on my ferns/moss/wood/rock & im pretty sure it was an actual spider from When i bought this But i Killed it recently not gonna lie (literally yesterday) 😬 it next to the rock where theres a whole/missing moss- kept A web Between And Theres a whole in the soil now. I kept seeing a web and Got tierd of it. Maybe Spider mites? i Read that You cant see A spider mite With bare eyes but can see the White eggs from them? I Have sprayed it down with neem oil a couple times but i ran out so i was just gonna clean the foliage off & Get neem oil Tomorrow. Noticed it because where it was at is slowly making my Plants get Crispy and Dry at the ends… might Repot it and change out the soil Because it stays wet to long- greenhouse Soil and I will eventually change it to my own soil mix. Got this maybe 2-3 weeks ago.

I recommend removing the objects off the soil. They block air circulation and slows evaporation of the moisture in the soil. The soil takes longer to dry out leading to root rot.

Do you think it would be a Useless Thing to Give it My own soil type? I make my own Aroid soil mix… And The soil they have in it is Greenhouse Soil ! I just am worried about the moss Since some of it already died from The spider that was in it. Trying to keep it alive as much as possible!

I don’t mist my plants since I live in a high humidity area. I prefer humidifiers since I’ve had a history of getting mold on my plants from misting. Keep if it works for your plants.

Change out the soil if it needs it. Greenhouse soil is not typically bad. Most of my plants are in their original pots and soil. I have changed soil if the greenhouse soil is coming from a cooler part of the US and holds more water.

I Live Near Wyoming state now so I’m definitely in a colder state and their soil definitely stays wet very long. I’m from Florida so I’m used to having high humidity and I have mostly tropical plants, and I heard misting your plants doesn’t Really do anything, but what you said! but I’m trying to keep this moss alive, but I’m definitely wanting invest in a humidifier once I have the space too!
