What do you mean?
0 LikesThe yellowing leaves? How are you caring for them? What kind of light are they getting?
0 LikesYellowing/ browning leaves, just generally not looking healthy. They have been in the same position for last 6 months and I water them regular but in last two weeks they turned like this đ˘
0 LikesThe philodendron birkin looks like it might be dealing with some overwatering issues based on the way older leaves are turning very bright yellow and browning. If the leaves feel soft to the touch or have browning on them, if you have any fungus gnats, or if the soil feels damp at all (unless you just watered it), that would probably confirm that itâs overwatering. Philodendrons prefer to dry out in between waterings; I like to make sure mine is 75% dry before watering again by sticking in a chopstick and making sure it comes out of the soil clean and dry. You might need to do a full repot + root treatment if youâre noticing any of the following: browning or black spots on leaves, new leaves are falling off, dropping a lot of leaves quickly, feeling loose or wobbly in the pot, soil smelling sour/swampy/sulfur-like, any visibly mushy roots, or if youâre worried that you chronically overwatered it for a long time. Otherwise, youâre probably fine to just cut off the worst leaves and back off to watering once the soil is 75% dry.
