The leaves getting soft and one or two have become this, I watered three days ago when I got it (it’s new and my first plant) maybe I didn’t water it enough??

LadyTenorJDNo. That plant can hold water. Do not water it again for a few weeks. Soil shoukd basically be completely dry before watering again. You might be overwatering. When I first started out, I killed a common snake plant that everyone says is good for beginners. I overwatered him! The ones I have now, I've had almost 2 years and no issues. They get watered once a month if they are lucky. And they are growing...and shooting new leaves. The one you pictured I also have. Just got him a few weeks ago. He gets watered once in a blue moon. He's at my job now and living his best life on my desk. Don't overwater!

Cool cause I just got her and was just unsure if I didn’t water her enough the first time and the leaves were making me a tad nervous is all but yeah thanks, I guess I’ll wait it out.
