Plant doctor says overwatering. Don't think that's right. Any ideas? I cleaned off the leaves with an alcohol wipe and sprayed them with a neem oil mix and put the plant in quarantine just in case.

hmm the soil looks very wet and those spots are indicative of too much water. but you know your conditions best - why do you feel its not overwatering?

Because it's in a clay pot and I only water it when the soil is almost completely dried out. I just watered it the day before yesterday which is why the soil looks wet. I'm guilty of overwatering other plants in the past but I've never seen brown spots like that.

i think your soil is holding onto more water than the plant would like. if you watered that two days ago and it’s still this wet, it’s staying too wet for too long for sure. you could add more perlite 😎

Looks like root rot possibly from overwatering? I agree with the above comments!

Repotted and the roots looked fine, but put it in new soil and didn't water. What should I do with the damaged leaves? Should I cut them off?
