Are the circled white spots fungus gnat eggs?

    Fungus gnat eggs are too small to see. Your photo is quite dark and unclear. I’m guessing the white spots are either perlite or slime mold?

      Thank you. So do you just keep treating the soil until after you stop seeing adults?

      I usually only water once with neem oil to kill the eggs, then put gnat barrier on top (not sure where you live but you can just buy it at Bunnings here) so new baby gnats have a hard time coming out and adults have a hard time laying more eggs, and then I put sticky traps for any remaining adults. Works for me every time after just one round!

    Looks like perlite. If you're trying to get rid of gnats, just treat with whatever pesticide you're using until you don't see adults, and about 30 days past that, to make sure you get all the eggs/larvae. I use microbe-lift pond drops every time I water the plants. Its worked great. Same ingredients as the mosquito bits/dunks, just liquid form for ponds

    Don’t forget that fungus gnats aren’t the core of the problem. They usually come about when overwatering. I would also look at your watering habits and adjust accordingly.
