My Nanouk Tradescantia has crispy brown edges, some worse than others. I water once soil is about 60-80% dry and gets bright indirect light. Any idea what is happening? Perhaps low humidity or under-watering?

Do you have a room humidifier or humidity tray to offer it humidity, or keep it in a cabinet? If not, humidity could definitely be it

If you think everything else is alright you might want to check the roots.
1 mi piaceMine does this when the leaves get wet - make sure to keep them dry when you’re watering
0 Mi piaceMine does this too. I’ve tried all the things, but to no avail. I think she just likes to being a little crispy. (She has that in common with my daughter😉.) She keeps getting new growth. Let me know if you get it to stop.
0 Mi piaceThese are tricky. I’ve had the best luck growing them in water to avoid brown leaves with good light (I use plant lights). Change water every 7-10 days and you can trim the bottoms of they get too tall for your vessel. I use foliage pro fertilizer in the water. I’m going to try Self watering pot next.
