Hi! I have these white things on my sage. Any idea what they are? They are liquidy and come off with water but they keel making a small comeback in spots. Plant is healthy otherwise (outside of a few spots of munching but it is outdoor so thats normal)

    Hi there! This looks like spittlebugs! Removing them with water is the right first step. From there make sure you remove any dried/dead/fallen leaves that may be around the sage, clip away anything that looks terrible infested or has continuous issues and you can use insecticidal soap or horticultural oils. I spray all of my plants with a spray called “big leaf energy” every 2ish weeks and it has worked well to keep away any pests. Hope this helps 😊
