SunnyIt looks like it’s partially due to pests based on the black bits on the leaves and the chewed layers off some leaves.

I agree. I was having the same infestation with mine that I could never get rid of. I eventually threw her out. I took a cutting and have it in water now doing better pest wise but not growing much 🤷🏼♀️
