My beautiful girl summer has been fine for 6 months. And all the sudden this is happening. Please help. I don’t know what to do.

    This happened to mine too. I believe it was thrips. Do you see any?

    I had a similar occurrence with my peperomia, and the affected leaf seemed to disconnect itself at the stem. No root damage, but just in case, I repotted it in new soil (mine arrived in essentially peat moss alone), mixing Espoma’s All-Purpose mix with their cactus and succulent mix to reduce the amount of peat and adding more soil and perlite to give the mix more drainage, and the plant has been good ever since. They seem to often be potted in straight up peat moss, or heavily peat, and it can hold too much moisture for too long, especially in humid climates. My point is to perhaps check the soil and how long it takes to dry out, especially if it’s still in the soil it arrived in. Hope this helps!

      This is her now. The other possibility could be a humidity problem, such as it getting a change in humidity recently, perhaps from moving it to a new place. Peperomia can be a little sensitive to drafts, even something as simple as being near an air vent after recently being watered.

      No problem! Hope you figure out what’s wrong! Mine arrived with the leaf like that, and I know they’re prone to overwatering and edema, so I tried to be proactive before anything could worsen. I’ve gotten pretty attached to mine, so I completely understand not wanting to lose one’s peperomia.

      Mine was actually a Father’s Day present for my dad 😂 I’m the house’s houseplant caretaker though, so she’s pretty much my plant at this point. Her name’s Wanda 😊
