What are these tiny bugs? They are crawling all over the soil. Please help!

    Hmmm sounds like fungus gnats definitely clear out dead leaves, oh and some systemic granules this keeps pets and their larvae away/and dead you can get it from local grocery store or hardware store in their plant section (Walmart,target,Ace,Lowe’s) soil is a perfect breeding ground for the gnats it’s warm and damp. Also try the fungus gnat light trap they do look like night lights and have a blue hue to them and are super sticky. I use them and Omgosh didn’t know how many I have

    If you don’t see them flying around they could be springtails which are beneficial bugs. If you consistently water with mosquito bits/drops and they don’t go away it’s probably springtails. You can look up pics online to compare them to what you see in the soil
