What’s happening?? She keeps losing more leaves! I water consistently when the leaves get squishy (I wait about a week after the leaves start to squish a little) but she just doesn’t want to live!! SOS!!

Is it overwatered? Soil could be retaining too much moisture
1 j'aimeI don’t think it could be that. I also always check the soil before watering.
0 J'aimeIs it a succulent?
0 J'aimeWhen you check the soil, is the entire pot bone dry? It should be.
0 J'aimeIndeed she is. Sedum clavatum.
1 j'aimeYes. I poke the chopstick in more than one spot to make sure EVERYTHING is dry.
0 J'aimeLooks like over watering.
2 J'aimeHow often do you water? Succulents can and should go weeks, even months without watering. The key to succulent success is to forget it exists.
0 J'aimethey should also be in a very chunky/rocky soil mixture. Nothing that holds moisture
0 J'aimeI believe mushy leaves on a succulent indicates over watering. Im currently going through this too with one of mine. 🤧
1 j'aimePlace a paper towel folded a bunch of times under neath the plant. Keep doing that until the paper towel isn't wet anymore. Then put him back where you usually have him for light. Let him dry a little and see if that helps. :)
0 J'aimeLooks like overwatering. My wife says the same too.
