Hi friends! My plant for a bit has been getting little spots like this and then some of the leaves are shriveling up. I can’t tell if this is because it wants more sunlight or not?? That’s my only guess. Any ideas?

I deal with this issue specifically on this plant. Idk why. The only way I’ve been able to grow this plant without brown spots is in my window that’s back from my south facing covered porch and water the soil when it’s dry. I even still get brown spots when growing with a grow light, so I think it’s a watering issue.

0件のいいねI have these in my side yard. Direct sun until around 3-4pm. Definitely shouldn’t be a lighting issue. It lends me to agree there’s a water issue. I’m in zone 10 (FL), so the heat of the day dries them out well and the dew overnight from humidity seems to be the right amount of water… helps we are in our rainy season finally…. Hope this helps
2件のいいねI started using distilled water with mine instead of tap and that’s seemed to help!

Too much water. IMO, the nanouk needs to be treated more like a succulent indoors, so water every 10 ish days. They tend to “sweat” when you water too often and the brown spots appear then they spread as the spot stays wet and becomes a fungal issue. Cut back and dry it out. Use a soil medium that’s more suitable for succulents (lots of aeration) and it should help.
