Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice with my Peace Lily. I’m a complete newbie to plant keeping, and I’m slowly building up my collection. I currently have a snake plant, a yucca plant, a mini Swiss cheese plant, and three anthuriums. Most of them seem to be doing fine, but my Peace Lily has me a bit confused. I recently gave it a dose of liquid fertiliser as recommended by my local garden centre, but shortly afterwards the plant started to droop quite a lot. Since then, I’ve rinsed the roots thoroughly with dechlorinated water and repotted it into fresh soil. I placed it near a window for about a week and have only watered it lightly. What’s strange is that I have another Peace Lily thriving with its roots sitting in the sump of my aquarium, so I’m not sure why this one is struggling. Any advice or suggestions would be really appreciated! Thanks 😊

They don’t like being thirsty and apparently I’m learning they are ALWAYS thirsty!! Perhaps 🤔 a self-watering pot would be a great option!! That’s what I do with mine, it’s not suitable for all plants like my princess plant that prefer drying out most of the way in between watering it!! They so have their ways Ava needs that’s for sure !!
