Sorry no pictures because I hate them but I’ve got spider mites that just don’t seem to go away. I water whenever dirt is dry. But every time I finally get things growing (like beans or peppers) indoors I get spider mites! I’ve done nematodes, rubbing alcohol and water. I have fans on them all the time, I wipe off the leaves once in a while but maybe not enough?? It’s so discouraging this happens too often but now they’re on my aloe. They leave my rosemary alone. Maybe I can just mist with rosemary water and rubbing alcohol?

I'd use an insecticide for mites every 3 days for 6-7 weeks. That way you kill the whole life cycle. Generally people under treat. So they see another round pop up after the larvae hatch. Spidermitrs love warm and dry. So creating a humid environment if possible helps. Its another reason I'm a big fan of misting/humidifier.

Thanks. Ya I’ll have to get the soap. I mist but the air gets too dry here in winter lol. 😞

This is the home made one i was using from Blossomeffect. I switched to Arber because neems not effective on scale/mealybugs.

It definitely works on spider mites. And thrips too

I definitely do the rubbing alcohol spray mix before and it helped but I don’t think I did it long enough and the humidity indoors right now is 18-20% so that might not have helped 😅

Spider mites are my villain origin story.. but I’m coming in with my hydrogen peroxide comment (1 part hydro to 5 parts water), if you haven’t repotted to new soil, do that as well! Also what Wolfen said—insecticide for 2-3 months and up the humidity 10x! It’s a chore tackling spider mites! I’ve sworn off rubber trees because of them! Good luck to you, soldier 🫡
