So I picked up this monstera adansonii a few days ago and have been monitoring this few leaves hoping it’s nothing serious. But I wanted to put a post up just in case this ends being something that is time sensitive that I just don’t know about. If anybody has info and what it might be and what to do about it. Please let me know!

I would isolate the plant, remove damaged leaves. The bottom left picture looks like it could be thrips. They can be hard to spot, if you have a magnifying glass, check the leaves, especially the underside. You can also hold a white piece of paper under a suspected leaf and shake it. Some insects will fall on the paper and make it easier to see. The underside of the leaves may also feel sticky. I hope I'm wrong, as it can be difficult to get rid of if not caught early. Adansonii was my 1st plant with thrips and I didn't catch it soon enough, it declined rapidly , I was able to save a few cuttings and had to start over. Early treatment is essential.

So I examined the underside very closely. Saw nothing. I felt the underside. It doesn’t feel sticky to the touch. I’m providing a picture of the underside of a rougher looking leaf for you to see.

Also. This is how the plant came. This didn’t start after I brought it home.

That's great. Much better picture, thank you. I don't see anything on there. It may have been overwatered or to much light. I would still remove the damaged leaves, they won't recover and just attract pests. They grow pretty fast and will fill in quickly. Other than that it looks like a beautiful plant.

Where should I cut them off at?

I usually cut mine fairly close to the bottom.
