I hope these work! Has anyone used these before and got good results? Any other advice to get rid of gnats? I bought a house plant from a yard sale and it had gnats so a few of my other plants have them now but i hosed the leaves off today and putting these in some of the pots. Hopefully 🤞 it will work.

Definitely use those but also mix a one part hydrogen peroxide, three parts water mix and pour through the plants to kill the babies. Then put a layer of gravel or sand on the top of the plants so the adults that are still alive can't get back to lay more eggs. I usually put some cinnamon on top of that because they don't like it and they should be gone in a week. That's their lifespan. And if it all possible quarantine the plants that have them. Oh and always make sure the top 1" or 2" dry out. Bottom watering is best if you have a real problem.

These are for the adult gnats, (which is useful enough until plants are fully treated) without tackling the bigger issues of the babies in the soil itself which you really want long term, and for that you need mosquito bits, which is a systemic treatment! It’s on Amazon and you can add the pellets to your water, strain, then water as per usual with your treatment

I didn't have any luck with those and everybody swears by them. The trick is definitely killing the eggs though and then not letting them lay anymore. I had them in over 100 plants. Not fun. Spent a fortune.

And I almost forgot, when the gnats are gone you might want to remove the sand or the gravel. I didn't and some of my succulents got root rot because they let the soil stay wet too long.

Mosquito Bits work for me. I have over 140 plants, most live outside. I don’t need the yellow stickies. Mosquito Bits contains Bti, a beneficial bacteria that kills fungus gnats larvae in the soil. Use it with every watering cycle.🍀🪴
