Hi, this peace lily needed to be repotted in the summer so I did. Ever since then it’s been droopy and the leaves have been looking like they’re rotting so I keep cutting them off. I thought it was in shock and just needed time to recover. But it never did. Eventually I noticed the soil didn’t drain well enough because it would remain moist for a long time. So I finally got extra perlite to mix in. However, the same thing keeps happening. And I checked all the roots thoroughly, all of them looked extremely healthy. I’m so confused. Can anyone help?

Could your pot be too big? When repotting did you only go up 1-2 inches in size?

It was 2in bigger diameter wise, 2in bigger height wise.

2” should be ok. Does your pot have drainage and did you use a soil recommended for your plant?

Yeah I believe they don’t like the roots disturbed too much, they stress out

Make sure the media has good aeration, keep it away from direct sun and definitely away from drafts hopefully this helps
