What do you do when your African Violet gets a long stalk? Do I chop it off and replant it or do I just leave it? I know it’s had issues, but I’m trying to revive it.

    I just repotted all my African violets. I just repot it a little deeper when there’s a long stem. I’d just try to cover the exposed roots with your guy there. I wouldn’t suggest doing that with any plant, but African violets stems seem to sprout roots very easily and don’t mind the moisture on their stem.

    i’d like to add that you should always remove and discard dead, dried up foliage. decaying matter is a pest magnet
