Howdy! New to the plant parenting realm and looking for advice for two of my plants that seem to be really struggling this winter. My poor babies need help. My Golden Pothos(I think; 1st pic) has saggy/drooping leaves. I just repotted, removed dying vines and added leca balls. My Prayer Plant (2nd pic) has leaves that are curling and has had a lot of yellowing leaves that have been removed. Repotted, added leca balls and moved into a room with a humidifier. My Ficus Bonsai(3rd pic) has lost majority of its leaves, not sure why. I added leca balls and started to water less. Any insight on these babies is greatly appreciated!

Oh no your pothos looks so sad! How is your watering schedule? Most issues with plants have to do with over/ underwater!

I water based on the apps prompting which is usually once every 8-12 days. What would you suggest for resetting watering schedule? Do you measure when you water?

The prayer plants like to be moist & not dry out. I had one in Terra cotta before too, and it HATED it. Curled all up like yours. Took a while, but got it back to being healthy. Now in plastic & chunky soil mix.

Ohhh! This is great advice, I will try moving to another pot. I just took it out of the original plastic pot and it curled maybe a week after. Do you measure when you water? Thank you!

By now I can tell by the weight of the plastic pot & the look of the leaves when it needs water. Soil will still look damp, but it just SLURPS up the water (i bottom water them). And if I wait a day or two, it gets angry. And I use distilled water too for my calathea (in the prayer plant family)…helps prevent crispy edges. But I also agree with mushroombookgirl. Humidity can be a factor too.

My pothos and prayer plant were thriving during the summer months, but when the indoor heating came in they both looked like yours, so maybe it’s something to do with the air or the humidity. I moved mine to my bathroom and the prayer plant is much better but my pothos is still sad unfortunately :(

Ok I was definitely starting to question this. I will put them in my bathroom, didn’t even think of that considering the lighting is perfect in there. How long have you had them in there?

I would say about 3-4 months by now?
