Any advice for getting rid of spider mites? I have two rubber trees that I have been battling spider mites for months. I treated with neem oil after hosing them down in the shower but they always seem to come back. I have also tried wiping down the plants regularly. I am pretty on top of it so I notice pretty quick when they are back but would like to get rid of them for good.

i was able to fully eradicate spider mites on a basil plant within two weeks by spraying it every day with a castile soap and essential oils solution— a few drops of castile soap and a few drops of tea tree, lavender, and peppermint. whatever treatment you choose, be sure to apply it regularly, at least twice a week, to ensure all the bugs are dead.

NeemMAX is a great product for mites because it uses unprocessed neem. Mitex is also a great natural product I stand by. If you want something that’ll knock em out first go, Roseshield is one of my favorite products but you do need to follow up with a natural product consistently after to keep them off. The other two chemicals that’ll kill mites are malathion and abamectin. They’re harder to find and aren’t as safe to use indoors.
