My friend’s heat broke for ~48 hours during this cold snap in Michigan and a lot of her stems froze (temp got down to 28F in her house by the end). Now they’re wilted after defrosting, and it’s unclear which can be saved. Any advice for figuring out which ones are okay? Has anyone dealt with a sudden frost snap before? How can she prevent fungus as they recover? Any help is appreciated!

If they have planta they can look at the hardiness zone for each plant. If they don’t know the types of plants that would be the place to start and then look up their hardiness zones to see if the even stand a chance of surviving. I’m guessing some may need to be cut down, they may lose their foliage but their roots may survive and may grow new leaves, but really depends on the species of plant.
