I recently got this ZZ plant and it just started turning yellow and dropping leaves. I repotted it after getting it and it has drainage. I’ve only had it about three weeks and have only watered it once, so I don’t know if it’s overwatering. Any idea what is going on?
These guys kinda thrive on neglect. Those fat stems are very good at holding water so it can go long periods without watering. Planty Ann’s advice about watering is perfect.
2 Me gustaI just recently got one of these plants too and I was told to only water it once a month (but to check the soil to see if it’s dry first since these get overwatered very easily) and put it in a spot with bright indirect light. As far as I know, anything on a plant that turns yellow/brown never turns back to green again, so you could just cut those parts off I think

Same!! I hardly ever water my ZZ. Maybe once a month and my girl is going on 7 yrs old!
