Does anyone know why this specific plant leave curl? Doesn’t look healthy, none of my other plants have this issue. 🙁

Also kind of hard to tell but it looks like a Calathea which needs distilled water as it has a lime sensitivity that is in regular water

May have curled when I’ve over watered! What plant is it?
0 J'aimeIt’s a Triostar Stromanthe. They are very dramatic about watering, lol. Mine does that when it gets too dry.

stromanthe and other prayer plants curl their leaves like this in response to a variety of stressors. dry air, heat, and dry soil are the most common. curling the leaves helps prevent water loss through transpiration. i’m guessing your stromanthe just needs a good watering. i wait til the top 1/2” or so of soil is dry on mine and then pour lots of rain water or filtered/treated tap water over the top of the soil to rinse away excess minerals. these plants cannot tolerate excessive chemicals and minerals in their soil
