Hi, my marantra seems to start the day with her leafs up but as the day goes they start to go off a bit. Is this because of too much light, temperature, or something else? You can see below a picture from this morning, and this afternoon to compare. Any help will be appreciate it!

It’s the natural habit of this plant. It’s why they call it a prayer plant 😊

That’s why they are called prayer plants. All maranta and calathea do this. Leaves go up at night and down in the morning. So cool! 😎

Plants in the Marantaceae family (prayer plants) move their leaves based on their circadian rhythm, so only be concerned if it’s doing something unusual (like not moving or moving opposite the “normal” movement). There are a lot of YouTube videos about prayer plants if you’re interested in learning more about them and the differences between prayer plants and most other plants.

This is important to know because drooping leaves in most plants is generally a sign of dehydration, but for prayer plants it’s part of their daily behavior
