My majesty palm feels like it’s been dying a slow death. I’ve cut off the outer dying fronds as the plant has gotten older, but the whole thing seems dry and brittle now. Seems to be watered properly and has been by this south-facing window for about a month now. I previously had it in a lower light spot for 5 months prior. Can I save it??

Honestly, every majesty palm I’ve had has died for some reason or another. They’re tough to take care of, but I hope you’re able to save it.

That’s helpful tip PlantyAnn. Think my cat palm is near the vent too and is drying out slowly. But moving it to the patio doesn’t seem to be helping much. It was out for 2 weeks. :(
