Hi! I got this alocasia bambino in the mail right before I had to go out of town for the weekend, when I got home it had these black spots. Does anyone know what this is and what could have caused it?

What does the underside of the leaf look like? I suspect its roots were wet for too long and it took up too much water and has dispersed that excess water into the leaves. If this happens it try’s to push the water out by letting it drip off the tips of the leaves but if it’s too much water too manage then the leaves get wet from the inside.

How cold is it where you live? And where was it shipped from? If it was shipped recently in cold weather then it could be that it got a little bit of frostbite in transit.

Did it ship with a heat pack and insulation? If not then you’re probably looking at frostbite since it’s been pretty cold in the mountain areas it was going thru. You’ll probably lose those leaves but as long as the roots are ok it should bounce back.
