   You can get yellow stickies to lay on top of the soil to help collect and kill them

   a hydrogen peroxide solution (1 part 3% peroxide to at least 4 parts water) poured over the soil will kill anything living in it. i’d recommend doing this for every plant every watering until the gnats are gone, then add a mycorrhizae-enriched fertilizer with the next watering as the hydrogen peroxide will kill any beneficial fungi in the soil as well. repotting your plants in a very airy, chunky mix is also a good idea to help prevent fungus gnats as these mixes dry much faster. your plants will prefer this as well. it’s also a good idea to wait until the last possible moment to water your plants, most can tolerate some level of drought and moist soil is where fungus gnats thrive
