What is this and what causes it? This plant was fine last week when I watered it. I just had to cut off seven of the leaves!! I have this problem with peace lilies all the time. I can’t figure it out. I use filtered water so it’s not a chlorine burn. I water when the top half of the soil is dry, or when the leaves start drooping. The humidity in my house is always a minimum of 50%. It’s also not sun scorch because they’re not near a window. I have two others that do the same thing just not as badly. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Frustrating, right? I rescued them from the clearance rack at my grocery store right after Easter and they were doing great for ages. I thought maybe it was putting the heat on but none of them are near heaters and I have humidifiers going. Go figure.

so one of mine was doing this recently and I asked someone on my plant page on IG. she asked me to check the roots ASAP, which I did and the roots looked incredible! they were super healthy. she told me the one other thing it could be is an improper watering schedule. I tend to underwater/not be a consistent watered and this isn’t the greatest practice for peace lilies. she said that if I water a bit more timely and don’t wait for the dropping-sign that they give off, this should go away. I’m giving it a shot so we shall see. Oh I’ve also moved it to a little sunnier spot near where my other two peace lilies are that are not having this issue. to be continued…
