Recently, I have noticed some of my plants to be slow growing and loosing leaves by yellowing. I’m not sure if it’s a soil, temperature, watering, or disease issues. I keep all my plants in my bedroom and I don’t keep my vent open because heat would be directly on them. I use tap water and I was using Dr. Earth Pump & Grow Liquid-Concentrate Organic Plant Food Fertilizer until I ran out and it hasn’t been in restock since. I have resorted too Miracle Gro’s fertilizer. I have also used their houseplant soil with a mix of perlite and orchid park from my local Lowe’s. If anyone has suggestions for fertilizers, soil mixes, temperatures, or anything I’m open to hearing them! P.S. I’m currently on Vacation so I will update them once I return.

    What’s the lighting situation?

My window faces North and not much sunlight comes through during the winter. During the Summer I get plenty of it.

I think it is normal for some leaves to yellow and drop when we move into winter months, older leaves I think. If it happens on a large scale I would recommend trying to get more light.
