I got this Thanksgiving Cactus a couple months ago, and it’s just started blooming. But I just noticed these little “pimples” on the leaves. Any ideas what they are and how to get rid of them?

No, they seem to be bored into the leaves.

They are definitely scale. Here’s a pic of one up close that I found recently on my curly orchid cactus. 😔

    And an immature one. Eww.

I scraped off each scale carefully with a pair of tweezers and then rubbed that area with rubbing alcohol applied to a cotton swab. Next, I sprayed down the whole plant with neem oil. I will treat my plant again a few more times to make sure that I got everything including the larvae. Scale infestations are manageable, in my opinion. Good luck!! 😊
