I got this Thanksgiving Cactus a couple months ago, and it’s just started blooming. But I just noticed these little ā€œpimplesā€ on the leaves. Any ideas what they are and how to get rid of them?

No, they seem to be bored into the leaves.

They are definitely scale. Here’s a pic of one up close that I found recently on my curly orchid cactus. šŸ˜”

I scraped off each scale carefully with a pair of tweezers and then rubbed that area with rubbing alcohol applied to a cotton swab. Next, I sprayed down the whole plant with neem oil. I will treat my plant again a few more times to make sure that I got everything including the larvae. Scale infestations are manageable, in my opinion. Good luck!! 😊
