Hi guys I have a monstera that is very healthy and thriving but it started getting this random brown spot on it about a month ago I’m not sure what it is. All of the other leaves are flourishing and growing new ones any ideas? I also don’t see any pests on it

Nothing you can really do about it if it’s sunburn

It could be a few things including an old leaf dying off, root issues, overwatering or pest in the soil. I don’t think it’s sunburn. Sunburn causes damage in patches and not in circles or edges. All the leaves facing the sun would show damage. The patch usually turns dark and mushy before drying out. A naturally aging leaf usually turns yellow before drying. I would check the roots for any sticking out the drain holes that may be broken or taking in excess water or have fungal/bacterial infection. This looks more like a damaged or overwatered root or section of roots since only one leaf is showing damage.
