My poor PPP is sick. I go by this app regularly. Any ideas how I can make her better?

Moisture meter on Amazon has saved my life even outside of a wooden stick, highly recommend. They're pretty cheap too. Keep in mind humidity may be needed more in the winter with dry heat. I gather my plants together a lot during this time. Hope she recovers!

They quickly get wildly inaccurate, better to just but a finger in there

Definitely invest in a moisture meter like others are suggesting, they’re only like $10. But also cut off those bad leaves! Make sure she’s getting LOTS of sunlight

a moisture meter nearly caused me to kill ALL of my plants because it just didn’t work. I use a (generally free!) chopstick to check all my plants. or even my finger if the plant is big enough. PPPs (like all philodendron) are prone to root rot caused by overwatering. the soil in your picture looks half dry and half wet which is strange. when the chopstick comes out of the soil, clean (no soil attached), water your PPP. and water it thoroughly every time too. water it until the water comes out of the drainage holes. let it sit for a few minutes and then put it back in its decorative pot.

The soil looks like it might be compact and hydrophobic, also PPP looks to need a bath

Well…I repotted her, wiped the leaves off and put a moisture meter in the soil. I hope she gets better. This is my favorite plant out of the many I have. Thank you all for the tips. I thank God she didn’t have root rot.
