Hey y’all, my Dragon Scale Alocasia is going through it. This is the 2nd time this has happened and at first the app said it couldn’t be me over watering it, so I did was it recommended - repotted it with new dry soil, I did remove the leaves that were really bad and it seemed to work but now it’s starting again and I thought I’ve been doing a good job by making sure I wasn’t watering it too much. The yellow circle is a new symptoms and I’ve not seen before. I’m just hoping that maybe talk have seen this, is there something else I’m doing wrong or am I really just overwatering it 🥲

And the all yellow leaf could simply be the plant dropping an old leaf.

it looks a little like a nutrient issue too, do you fertilize?

You can make your own fertilizer out of kitchen scraps too. I keep eggshells, coffee grounds, and banana peels in a bag, then blend them up in water, set the jar aside for a couple days to let the nutrients dissipate, then put a little of that into the water I use when I water my plants. It’s been working pretty well so far.

The soil looks a little too dense, try using an aroid soil mix.

Perlite is a really great aerator to add to your regular potting soil.

It looks like this pot has a built in drainage tray and I have found that they’re not very effective with drainage. Get something with many visible drainage holes

Smart ! I think I’ll probably drill some drainage holes since I do like the pot haha

It does looks like overwatering and maybe too much sun at the same time
