I know she’s due for a water but can anyone tell me why she has a yellow leaf? Every watering cycle I’ve noticed a new yellow leaf. Is this normal for satin pothos/scindapsus pictus in the winter? I currently have her hanging in a southwest facing window. It doesn’t have a draft that I know of but she does feel cold to the touch. Thank you.

Yes. The leaves will curl to let you know it’s dehydrated but it’s can be stressful for the plant only getting waters when your dehydrated. So it’s communicating with you but you don’t have to actually wait until then. Also it’s an older leaf so under stress they are usually the first to go. Sign of underwatering.

This always happens to my pothos even when the soil is dry. I'm not sure what causes it but definitely keep an eye on it and if anymore form I would recommend looking at the soil thoroughly to find any really wet spots!

Mine does this when there's drainage issues and ends up simultaneously under and over watered. mine is also in a southwest facing window (but i keep a low level grow light on it and my spider plant because i have less sun than i should since i live in the woods) recently got the advice to water from the bottom, if you’re not already doing that!
