My pilea was doing so well (1st picture) up until | decided to repot it from a 4in to a 6in terracotta pot and separated the MANY babies that were booming just recently (2nd picture). I did have to cut off some of the roots because they were so root-bound): it has been under the same grow light and I repotted it in the same soil. I water once a week when the soil is dry. I can't seem to figure out why the bottom leaves are drooping, yellow and fragile. I did read that the older bottom leaves will tend to do this, but I'm not sure. I'm afraid it will be naked. Any advice? 😭

I don’t have experience with this plant at all, but how long ago did you report? Maybe it is just going through a stage of shock and it will bounce back.

Hopefully! I repotted it last week. The drooping leaves started a bit before that and then I realized it was root bound. So I repotted it. Maybe I need to give it some time!

Pileas are soooo dramatic when they’re repotted. When I repotted my big one, it took her like a solid month+ to begin looking healthy again. You may lose some leaves in the transition, but I bet she’ll be fine! 🌿
