🆘 I have a gnat infestation. I’ve tried everything: neems oil, mosquito bits, and sticky traps. I just dumped white vinegar in the three plants that seem to be the cause as a last resort before I throw them away. Please help! I love these plants but I cannot handle the gnats. It’s unbearable.

I had this problem in the summer - tried traps and cinnamon and neem and soap. What worked in the end was switching ALL plants to bottom watering, to dry out the top soil and kill the eggs.

Oh my…this sounds like my first infestation. On top of many of the above suggestions, also try to water your plants less often. As a last resort, repot everything and throw the soil in a dumpster. I will also say I’ve composted many plants with out of control infestations. It’s a little heartbreaking, but it can also be a learning experience. Be strong!

It looks like you already have a ton of answers on here, but I’ve struggled with gnats too and it sucks. I found this product too late - I ended up throwing the few plants I had at the time away. But now, I use this all the time as a preventive measure. One drop per gallon of water is all you need!
