I got this Bamboo palm a couple months ago and I’m not sure why the bottom leaves are turning yellow? Is that normal for bamboo palms or does it need repotted?

    Could be natural die off if it’s slow (1-2 leaves here and there) if it’s more rapid I would suspect under or over watering. To be safe, check the roots. There could also be pests that would do this, so inspect carefully. It needs repotted if roots are coming out the bottom, or if it seems there’s more roots than soil. Bamboo palms like to be snug in their pots, so I would wait as long as possible to repot if you can.
