Please what is wrong with my calathea - the lower leaves started drooping as it got darker so I put her under a grow light and that seemed to stop it for a while, but now it’s started again. It’s only the lower droopy leaves that have brown/yellow sides. Thanks!

I didn’t notice the kind of plant initially do I thought this was a peace Lily. I wonder if the leaves droop when it’s thirsty like a peace Lily? I’ve found typically the dry edges would be from inconsistent watering or lack of humidity. Do you live in a humid area or have a humidifier near it?

The room is pretty humid, I don’t believe it is that tbh - could be the inconsistent watering though haha. Thanks!

Increase the humidity. Also Calathea’s = HEARTBREAKERS. My rattlesnake plant almost always has a bit of crispy brow part. The yellow could be over watering. I let the rattlesnake plant dry out between waterings

Yes I’ve had a couple calatheas die on me thats why I’m really hoping this one pulls through! Thanks for the suggestions

Calathea also are sensitive to tap water.

Ah ok, perhaps I should start watering with distilled every time, rather than only doing it when I can be bothered 😅 thanks!
