Ok so my mom has two very beautiful money trees, one is eleven years old and the other is only a year or two old. They thrive outside in the summer, get big and healthy branches and leaves and they look great. But when we bring them inside from the winter cold, they look so sad and they wilt and lose leaves and stems. My dad says that it’s because of the change of climate and we just keep them inside all year long. My mom disagrees because they are so happy outside. Any tips? Idk what we should do.

I’m wondering if a grow light would help. It would get the warmth and light from it and may feel like it’s outside.

It would need to be a pretty big grow light, Benjamin (the big one) is pretty huge, five feet give or take

Is there any other option besides a grow light? They take up a lot of space and my mom doesn’t want one

They have the grow lights that clip to the pot so it doesn’t take up any extra space. But honestly I’m not sure what else would help. I’m sorry. Maybe someone who has more experience than me can help.

Mine stays in year round, in my very Sunny and humid bathroom. It is only when I move her from that space that she stressed out. There are grow lights with fixtures that enable you to hang them from the ceiling. If you don't have a big sunny space for them, consider getting a Soltech Aspect LED grow light. They're highly rated and will likely be on sale for Black Friday.
