Nic Van DI believe these are way to propagate. I’m not an expert but I believe you can cut the broken part and let the stem scab over then just replant it in the soil and it will grow roots. I would Google “lady fingers propagation” good luck!

These are *super* easy to propagate! Just break that piece all the way off, snap enough of the bottom leaves off that you can poke it back into the soil & then just water it like normal. also leave the original piece in the soil - it will branch out & grow more. You can even save all the leaves & stick them on top of your soil, they will shoot out roots. Same thing just happened to me & I saved all the pieces & now I have too many starts & not enough pots! 😅

additional note: if you do save the leaves, keep that soil a bit more moist as those little baby roots will need some extra love. I do this by misting the top of the soil so that I don’t overwater the main plant.

You are welcome! This is what the leaves start to do: the main leaf sends its nutrients out to make new leaves & roots - the leaf with eventually shrivel up (just misted these). I even picked some of these guys up off the floor a few days later & they had started to send out roots.
